Insurance Discounts For Novice Drivers

When a novice driver looks at car insurance, it can be a shock. Many new drivers take a pass plus course. However this only gives discounts once you've passed the driving test, and completed the course. Discounts normally work out at around 20%.

However, recently a company called A2OM (Atom) has set up a BTEC in driving science. It's the world's first qualification for novice drivers, and the insurance discounts start from the moment you start the course.

This means that you have the cheaper insurance while you a learning to drive, should you want to do some private practice.
